Our sheltered outdoor gym offers everything you need for a workout in the fresh air, with heaters and weather protection for all-season use. Guests can also book paid sessions with personal trainer Uzman Zaheer for tailored fitness support during their stay.

Day visitors
Can’t stay for the night?
You can still enjoy Tunnel Cottages. Day visitors are welcome from 11am to 11pm to relax, explore, and enjoy the peaceful grounds. You will be able to leave your car or bike while you explore around and make use of shared facilities.

Wildlife around the farm
Tunnel Cottages is surrounded by fields and woodland alive with nature. You’ll often spot Shetland ponies grazing nearby, along with rabbits, squirrels, and the occasional fox wandering through. In warmer months, butterflies flutter across the meadows, and you’re sure to notice plenty of other small wildlife in the fields surrounding the property.
If you enjoy birdwatching, don’t forget your binoculars. In spring and summer, swallows return each year to raise their young in the stables, filling the air with gentle chirps. The area is home to woodpeckers, jays, and other woodland birds, while buzzards and red kites glide gracefully overhead by day, and owls call across the valley at night.
